Human needs and the forest ecosystem
The great challenge in forestry is to establish a sound balance between the environmental, subsistence and productive uses of resources, taking into account both human needs and the forest ecosystem.
Ramboll´s approach to sound forestry is based on sustainable management principles. We aim to meet the economic, ecological, social and cultural needs of present and future generations. This means that sustainable forest management requires social, technical and biological know-how combined with capacity development.
